I am first generation son of Calabrian Parents from Cosenza, Carolei. Recently visited Cosenza, Carolei, and Mendicino (Fathers Hometown Pasquale Dominico Greco)as well as my wifes parents town in Sciara, Sicily. My uncle, Don Luigi Ruffo is a Priest in Carolei and both my wife and I were inspired by S. Francesco Da Paola. Such to the extent that I am further inspeired after reading his biography to start a Bronx Society of S. Francesco Da Paola. Where I conduct my business and "espresso" social discussion are many Calabrese and Sicilian families as well as numerous Calrabrian Clubs. At the age of 64, I am deeply inspired to pursue and spread the teachings and stories of S. Francesco Da Paola. Anyone with any ideas, please feel free to call me at 914-837-7747. Hi, My name is Sharon DiGiovanni. I am the grandaughter of Jennie Dee, The Dee, Donaddio, Dunadee family that lived at 100 Orchard St. I am looking for old photos from the early days... My Dad is quite ill...George DiGiovanni and I am putting together a family history scrap book for him. It would mean so much to me if you have any photos of the Dee, Dunadee, Donaddio or DiGiovanni family. I know my great Uncle's and Great grandfather George Dee was very involved early on. I would be forever grateful for the help.
